And fixed the scoreboard ads, and added seating. The athletic department's doing work.

You serious? Got a link? I know Alleva was talking about it, but didn't know it was actually in the works.

Also, microcells inside the stadium won't help me. I need service outside of it near the track stadium...

Google microcell. It enhances cell service, not sure about data though? Service providers will usually install one in your house if you're in a dead zone. Pretty sure they boost your cell service through the Internet somehow.

What happened to going to Tiger Stadium to actually watch LSU play football, instead of playing on a phone?

The turn of the century.

To answer the OP, my Verizon service works fairly well during tailgating, and is better than AT&T that others around me have. But I've never tried streaming video like you're talking about doing.

Idk if you're talking about my OP or what. I'll address both.

Tiger stadium refuses to show consistent scores of other relevant games. We can access a quick score on our smart phones. Scores that effect our team, especially towards the end of the season. I love LSU football first and foremost, but I also love football. I want to see what's going on in other games.

As for my OP, it's for tailgating purposes.

Thanks. I knew it was better than ATT, but don't know if it's gonna be enough to stream. Hopefully someone can help.

Really, moved to the OT? This specifically has to do with LSU tailgating and belongs on the rant.

Insife the stadium during the game, I can rarely get scores to update but outside tailgating its a little better

I would not depend on it for streaming though

At least if it's anything like last year

It may work during the day some but as game time gets closer, it's gonna get shittier

iPhone 5

Verizon is definitely better than att on gamedays in my experience, but I wouldn't call it dependable by any means

Trafgic on the network would likely give you issues. Usually carriers augment with a COW. But years ago we installed a few different carriers on different lights in the stadium. Voice/text will likely guve you problems. Data will likely be jammed at peak tailgating times. Most people use data 90% of the time they use a phone these days. Unless they aresending a quick text.

In summary, my opinion it is a waste. Just bring a dish/receiver/tv and be done with it.
