I honestly didn't even know this movie existed until I went to see Guardians last night. I saw it listed in one of the theaters and was shocked.

These movies fricking suck. The new TMNT will suck.

It's kind of hard to blame the Chinese completely though, since you'll never see anything come out of that country (save Hong Kong cinema) that has any moral relativism. The villain basically is always just evil and doing what he does for power. They've never seen movies in their own culture that takes a more Game of Thrones mindset.

How many American movies of the non summer blockbuster variety get screens in China?

Is it basically go see the imported American action movie or not go to theaters at all?
