some highlights:

quote:

Can the defense create turnovers?
LSU had 11 interceptions in 13 games in 2013, down seven from the 18 in 2012.
LSU recovered eight fumbles in 2013, down seven from the 15 in 2012.
19 turnovers created by the defense, down from 33 in 2012.

quote:

The same coach who told me that the defense would dominate the offense early in camp also told me that the word he has gotten back from some defensive players is that Leonard Fournette is the hardest player to cover on the 2014 team.

quote:

Trey Quinn is ready to go. Seriously, I do not know if people understand how good he is.
Malachi Dupre is incredibly explosive.

quote:

Travin Dural is the clear #1 receiver on this team.
That is not up for debate at the moment.
But the battle for #2 is wide open.

quote:

Seriously, having spent time with Miles in the last few weeks, he knows something.
He has been relaxed and confident.
What does he know that the rest of us do not?
He has youth at some very important positions, but that does not seem to phase him.
And he seems as comfortable as he ever has with a team entering a season as the head man at LSU.

I think people are finally starting to see that his speed and route running is the real deal. All while being a coach on the field, deceptive, lunch-pail guy, etc

While this is great to hear, Ponamsky is like the biggest LSU homer there is in the local media. This is a guy that said LSU would win the national championship every year since 2009.

That whole article got me excited. If LF7 is the hardest guy on the team to cover. He's gotta be dang good. Cam will use him well out the backfield in mismatches against linebackers. Helps out the quarterbacks a lot. Quinn I expected to be good and malachi is obviously expected to be good by everyone (recruiting rankings). This team had potential. That's exciting.
