Wasp stings suck

Got stung about 530 Friday ... Took Benadryl and iced my wrist. Woke up to a huge hand and went to the walk in clinic. A steroid shot and antibiotics given. But this shite stings and itches like crazy and Benadryl isnt helping but its starting to spread although swelling is down due to icing and elevating. Can't sleep and I want to rip my arm off. Guess I'll be making a return trip in the am.

Nothing worse than running into an unexpected wasp nest and getting the shite stung out of you. Hate those frickers

I stepped on a nest when I was a kid and got stung by about 10-15.

When I was about 11 I was playing football with 3 other guys when the ball rolled into some bushes and a guy went to get it. He disturbed a yellow jacket nest and they came roaring out in a mass.
We all were stung -- I got 6-7, I don't remember the other 2 (one of them, an older kid, was a total prick; I hope it was a lot for him), but the disturber (also a little older) got stung 75 times and had to go to the ER. He later told me he saw a HS kid OD while he was there.

When I was 9, we decided to eat outside and the yellowjacket landed on my pinky, didn't notice so I shook it.
Worst pain I can remember and I was a pretty reckless kid (sprained ankles and broken bones like any kid). We ended up having to call pest control to eradicate the nest, which was in the forest behind our house roughly 100 yards away.
