Last time Israel had a soldier captive by Hamas, they had to give up like 50 Palestinians to secure his release. This time one is captive, and then all of a sudden, they randomly discover he's been killed.

Seems fishy. Methinks they're just leaving him behind to rot rather than get into another hostage situation with Hamas.

Or at least that seems like something I could see happening...

Hamas has been saying he's KIA too.

If Hamas and the IDF are agreeing on something, I don't see any reason to disbelieve it.

It's fishy, and I wonder how they all of a sudden discovered they have another dead soldier, but as the guy above me said, Hamas and IDF are agreeing.

Perhaps this can lead to peace.

Ok. Didn't realize Hamas was confirming. Sorry for conspiracy theorizing.

Wasn't this guy being captured the reason why Israel broke the cease fire?

Based on the Israeli reports that Hamas kidnapped one of their soldiers, which now seems in doubt.

What an arse! The Israelis broke the cease fire? How can they break a cease fire AFTER three soldiers are kill?
You meant to say Hamas killed three Israeli soldiers breaking a cease fire only hours after a cease fire was agreed upon.

Based on what source? The Israeli's? This is war, and everyone lies in war.

The initial reports were that Hamas had launched an attack and kidnapped a soldier. No mention of an airstrike or anything else. No mention of dead Hamas members.

Now they found the Israeli's body, but there is no confirmation that Hamas was involved, and there is a possibility of an Israeli airstrike involved.

We are still waiting on proof that anyone with ties to Hamas killed the 3 teenagers.
