The wife and I are taking my daughter to Paris for her 4th birthday. Our 5-year old son will be with us as well. We will probably exhaust my idea of kid-friendly Paris ideas in 2 days. What to do besides:
Eiffel Tower
Luxembourg Gardens
Notre Dame
Seine river cruises
Centre Pompidou
Piscine Josephine Baker

Anything else?

ETA: I am not an OT baller. Paris is less than a 5 hour drive away from us (3 hrs by TGV or ICE train).

Can you not take them?

They're too young at this point.

You'll have much more fun with just you and the wife.

Even more fun alone. At least I did, way back in 1979.

Sounds like a waste of a good vacation. Wait 5 years.

The wife and I have been to Paris a bunch of times. I agree it is more awesome for adults.

Congrats on the money, but I would imagine that your 4 year old would have a lot more fun for a lot less money at Disney World. I would never want to go on a transatlantic flight with a 4 and 5 year old

What?!! Dude, every 4 year old girl dreams of seeing The Louvre. You are a crappy Dad.

Since the kid is turning 4, I'm gonna say it was you and the wife's' idea to bring the kids to Paris... This has 'nightmare' written all over it. Good luck

Nevermind y'all live in Europe... Still good luck

Sorry for the confusion. We live in Europe.

Daughter's birthday is right before school starts, so I asked her where she wants to go for vacation before school and for her birthday.

She said Paris.
We said why not?

Isn't there a disneyland in Paris? That sounds like a good time for a 4 year old

Eta: nvm, you live in Europe.

F that noise. We aren't disney people.

I'm thinking of just letting them gorge on crepes with Nutella.

moved here about a month ago for work.
I've been between TX and LA for about 4 years before this. I'll be here for 4 years, so we decided we were going to take the opportunity to travel a good bit with the fam.

For my son's 6th birthday, we are going to Denmark for the Lego Factory. I am actually really looking forward to that.

Carousels. All the carousels.

I don't see Notre Dame as very kid friendly.

I'd definitely skip the gardens at the Louvre.

I think you are on the right track with crepes. Also hit up a bakery every morning for croissants and pastries. Take them to neighborhood bistros where the staff will fawn over them. There must be a fabulous doll store there somewhere.
