I caught a sneak preview a couple of days ago at Disney. Looks great and I normally can't stand comic book flicks. I'm taking my boys to see it tomorrow.

Hope we get some feedback from you and whoever else watches it tonight after it's over. Maybe even a spoiler and a non spoiler thread?

I saw it a few nights ago. I thought it was great.

Given that it is set very far from earth, it has an almost stand-alone quality from other movies in the marvel universe.

focuses heavily on developing the relationships between the members of the team.

I'd say if there was a weak point it'd have to be the villains, but given the focus on the guardians themselves it isn't much of a complaint in my book.

speaking for myself, not trying to project my interest level on to you. If you're excited to see it, by all means go go go!

There are few movies that generate much more than average interest level for me. Winter Soldier was one, looking forward to the next Avengers movies, Hobbitx5armies, Intersteller, the next JJ Star Trek Lens Flair extravaganza.. but not really SW7

I had absolutely no interest in seeing this after the watching the commercials for it. Was dragged to it with the family. Great movie and enjoyed it very much. Action packed and laugh out loud moments. Recommend it highly.

What he said above, without spoilers it was just a fun solid popcorn flick. That is the most fun i have ever had watching a movie, surprisingly deep in some parts too. If this kind if movie is not your thing then move along. But i highly recommend it

Just got out. An easy 3.5 stars. The lead actor (starlord) was solid. He stole the show throughout with that dry humor

Just got back from it, loved it on almost every level, in one word FUN. The movie was fast paced, lots of action and character development. Only those with a stick-up their butts would not enjoy it.
