Say what you want about the man. Yes - he wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. He was a Leader and his intentions were good. He handled a great catastrophe with character and courage. I miss him.

A man who made his decisions upon conviction. I didn't always agree with him, but he always did what he thought was in the best interest of this country based on true convictions.

I wonder what the election map would look like if there was an election in November 2001, and 9/11still happened. The way Bush handled it in the early months was really a great display of leadership. I think he would have carried 40 states.

Agreed. That was a time to be a proud American despite your political inclinations. (Not you personally, but people in general)

The current president isn't exactly a cunning linguist himself. uh. um. uh. uh. um.

If you are going to trash, at least find something that differs from your team.

Top 5 worst president of all time. He made us the laughing stock of the world while simultaneously looked down upon for our war with Iraq.

You care so little, you had to make a post with a laughing emoticon just to make sure everyone knows the full extent of your disillusion with the board you frequently post on.

Well you should at least be concerned for your own education. You posted

or in your words

Oh the ironing...

If Bush made us the laughing stock, then what do you call Obama?

Look at our standing in the world during the Bush presidency vs. the Obama presidency. Specifically noting our foreign policy and our strength abroad.
