Panama City Beach Dinner Recs?

On vacation, thinking about a date night with the old lady. We are wanting seafood. We are in typical beach casual mode (don't want anything too dressy formal) but want something good. Any suggestions? TIA!

If you're willing to drive 25 minutes, George's in Alys Beach is very good.

Unfortunately, time does matter as the in laws are keeping the kids. A 25 minute drive would probably be too far.

I have never eaten anything other than hungry howies, waffle house, taco bell, and hooters in Panama. Sorry bro.

I went to Capt. Andersons last Sat. It was really good. But im not real fancy like a lot of folks on here. It was the first time I have been there and it is huge, holds like 750 people. Didn't have to wait to long though. Its closed on Sunday. Not for your date night, but if you want a good meal for cheap, there is a small place called Hognose Snapper, on Thomas Drive that we eat everytime we go.

If you are on the Laguna Beach end of PCB it's like 10 minutes......just cross the bridge, turn left on 30A and it's right there.

Schooners. It is open and on the beach and has pretty solid food. Not great but solid and the atmosphere is fun.

Looks like its George's. Thanks for the input. This board has never let me down. I will report back when we get done. Thanks again.

Not sure if you're drinkers or not (chances are, if you're an LSU fan you are), but one tip for George's:
Their beer and wine selection is decent (but expensive), but they have no cocktails. It's extremely common, though, to see people pull up outside the restaurant, put their names in with the hostess, get their beepers, then return to their car for tailgating on the lawn area. They don't seem to mind BYOB for their outside spaces, so I'd suggest picking up a few beverages on your way there (bottle of wine or six pack or cocktail fixings) and have a couple in the lot while you wait to be seated.

The t-shirts at Coconut Willie's are quite popular.
