I need to be able to run Windows on my MAC for work. Need to score sleep studies, but the software only works with Windows. Is Boot Camp the best option? Buy Windows? How do I do this and not screw up my laptop?

If it isn't really resource intensive usage I would use a virtual machine like Parallels or VMware. Also you can use Crossover to run Windows apps within OSX.

VMWare Fusion and Crossover are same price. Preference?

Fusion

But I'm biased because I'm a VMware distributor.

Fusion is supposed to be the best. I use Parallels though.

Fusion is the better deal since it will run full Windows within OSX.

If you just need to run a few Windows apps here and there you can try Crossover for cheap. It's a part of this bundle and you can get it for paying the average price which is $9.39 right now. If you need a full Windows environment then go with Fusion.

I would BootCamp it and just run Windows. But then again I fricking hate OSX.

I installed Parallels on my wife's MacBook. She needed it for sewing/embroidery. Likely about to switch her to a desktop now though. It will likely be the computer we use strictly to pay bills on and of course her sewing. No issues with Parallels though.
