Got the wedding anniversary coming up and would like to take an inshore trip targeting reds and trout.

Venice? Grand Isle?

What is THE best location in Louisiana, is the fishing decent time of year and in the following months.

GTFO with Delacroix because my mind is still fragile from there.

Look at the accommodations at Saltgrass outdoors. It's as nice as anyplace in the area to stay and fish at the same time.

Thanks Doc, looks like a top notch operation.

I will have the wife so they will obviously need to be patient with her womanly ways, etc.

You could stay at lauberge and fish big lake for a day or two. Fishing isn't on the same level as venice, but it's an option.

If you are taking your SO, consider going with Capt. Ron. Fantastic accommodations in his log cabin lodges, private bedrooms and baths, and he is hard working and great to fish with.

Thanks for the replies, I am checking all of those options out .

I have quite a few things planned up throughout September, so Im hoping the inshore fishing is decent in October?

It's arguably the best from October to mid December

That's also probably the best time for Delacroix too.

Big Lake will be fantastic at that time.
