Question for all of the Game of Thrones fans . (Spoilers)

I just started watching GOT, and I just got done with S2 ep1. I started finding myself rooting for House Stark, and then I suddenly remembered that I know what happens at the Red Wedding (I heard people talking about it at work back when it aired).
So my question is, is there any chance House Stark can recover from what all happened at or because of the Red Wedding? I'm guessing that they are going to build House Stark up for seasons 2 & 3 only to tear it down at the end of season 3. Now I'm finding it hard to continue watching knowing that everything they show regarding House Stark will be for naught. This may be the first time that a spoiler might have actually ruined a show for me.
Am I wrong in my assumption of how they will deal with House Stark over the next couple of season? And am I wrong in the assumption that after the Red Wedding, that House Stark is basically done has a major house?

Are you asking us to tell you what happens?
Just watch the show, dummy.

Well, the original title for the final novel was going to be "A Time for Wolves", so I guess they will.

Keep watching. I don't want to say anything else for fear of spoilers.

I considered not watching after that episode
But S4 makes it worth it, you can't tell where the story really goes unless you watch.

Really looking back only one person died in the RW died that I gave a shite about and the death of the other person made it worth it because I hated that one so bad

I love the show. Just keep watching and don't get spoilers, it gets better. Season 4 is really good, things come to a conclusion sort of. Just keep watching. The show does not follow the books 100%, but that's OK.

You'll prefer the Stark less realm. It's in better hands with House Lannister, Walder Frey, and Roose & Ramsay Bolton. Strong men for tough times.

Just keep watching. I found out about the RW and other stuff early on in S2 and was still hooked.

Thanks everyone. I ended up watching another couple of episodes last night. It is definitely an awesome show. The dialog and interaction between the characters is off the chart, that's for sure.
And is there any better of a character than Tyrion Lannister? That little guy has been such a boss so far. By far my favorite character (at least up to S2 E3).

the only character who comes close to being as cool as Tyrion is his father Tywin.

Charles Dance as Tywin is truly perfect casting.

This seems like a burning question to you now because you had a season spoiled, but if it hadn't been spoiled it wouldn't have even entered your mind. One thing that GoT is great at, is making you become attached to new characters very quickly. It really is amazing how much character turnover they have yet there's never a time where you won't have multiple favorite characters.
