What's the opinion on these? I have been looking around and have found these two bows at resaonable prices. I will go shoot each of them this week to see how I like them.
Anything I should be heads up for? The Helim looks to be in great condition and the assassin is brand new.

I just purchased a Helim and I really like shooting it. I worried that shooting a bow that lightweight would cause me to torque but so far that hasn't been the case. The Mathews should also have a higher resale when/if you decide to part with it. Bump the thread when you make your purchase.

I love Bowtechs. I find them to fit me very well although the Carbon Knigh and Assasin which I shot do not have as smooth of a draw cycle as my PSE DNA SP. I dont have much experience with Mathews but Bowtech simply fits better in the hand for me.

I just had to decide between the 2014 Mathews ZXT and a 2013 BowTech Insanity CPX
The BowTech was faster by a bit but loud. I went with the ZXT and absolutely love it. Quiet as can be and a tack driver

Shoot both and see which one fits you better. I was dead set on a matthews Z7 a couple years ago until I shot a Bowtech Insanity which fely 100x better.

Shoot the bowtech experience.
I was dead set on the creed until I shot the experience.

How fast are the mf'ers doing now? 500fps?

Most people will recommend the Mathews, but I like the Bowtech alot better. Mathews are way too light for me. A light bow is far less steady than a more solid bow.
If you really want to get a fine bow, just buy a Hoyt.
.....jk. But really.

Lol. I'm 28.5 DL pulling limbs maxed at around 72lbs with a heavy and high foc arrow 500 grains gets me around 275FPS or so.
It hits like a freight train.
