It's an hour long episode.

I'm not sure they can hold my attention for that long.

ETA: The description of the video says that the fans have been asking for a crossover. bullshite. Not once have I ever said "I wonder what peter would be like in Springfield."

"What's he doing here?"
"Oh we have to carry him because he can't fly on his own."

Yeah well you're not the voice for either fanbase. I've been waiting for this, forever

Didn't the Simpsons team basically come out and say that Trey and Matt nailed their FG criticisms when SP did that two-episode "crossover"?

I guess they weren't too down on FG if they're now joining up with them on this.

Either way, I'll definitely be watching...should be cool, and I enjoyed the 4 minute clip in the OP.

It's what makes this feel just plain wrong to me. Unless he's really come around, Matt Goering doesn't like Family Guy at all. They pretty much worked together in writing the second part of Cartoon Wars: LINK

I think they knew they lost that battle once Seth Mcfarlene was like "yeah we do that, were the first ones to admit it. Deal with it".

Plus the Simpsons have cameo'd on FG before, it's not unheard of

FG has had some awesome Cleveland show jokes since it was cancelled

The best thing about the newer FG episodes is how self aware they are. That's why I'll still watch

If anything, Jon Benjamin carries Bob's Burgers.

Well, of course. The Archer/Bob's Burgers crossover was the GOAT.

They better throw in an American dad joke. Hopefully one about how that show has been better than both of them for the last 4 years.

I loved it when Moe pulled the label off and it was Duff.

I don't think you guys understood my point.

At no time in the entire run of Family Guy or the Simpsons have I ever seen anything on the internet where someone was lamenting the lack of a crossover episode.

If there really was this groundswell of support for a crossover episode I would think that I would have seen someone, somewhere, talk about it at sometime.
