I will be heading to San Fran next week, and I want to bring back some beer that I can only find in California or the west coast. No preference on the style of beer because I do not want to limit the options you guys will give me. Even the names of some good local breweries out there for me to look out for will work. TIA

They had some tasty ones. If in the area long enough there brewery is in Healsburg north of SF.

And if you're headed that far, go on up to Cloverdale and hit up Ruth McGowan's.

I paid like 75 bucks for some Angel's Share that Lost Abbey knowingly bottled and shipped to stores flat. They didn't tell anyone they knew it was bad until weeks later. They of course had known when they shipped it that is was bad. If I lived out in Cali I could have brought the bottles back in for return to the brewery.

I let that slide aside from the loss of cash. I ordered some other Port/Lost Abbey beers a few months later. My Hop 15 and my Cuvee de Tomme were both flat again. I wrote a seething email to the brewery that went unreturned.

So since I'm out $100+ to them....frick THOSE GUYS
