I really enjoyed it for what it was, it was a good time. The chicks in it were top notch (who the hell is Hercules wife? She might be an OT 9.9) and there was a good bit of humor in it.

Some of the battle scenes were ridiculous, but what do you expect. The 3-d was pretty decent for those scenes, useless for the rest of the movie

SPOILERS

I laughed pretty hard at the shot they took at the Hercules movie that came out earlier this year

Was it just me or did the armies triple at the end of each battle? They went from like 300 guys to 300000 at the end of each fight

The second I saw the King of Thrace, I knew he was a bad guy, that guy is always a freakin bad guy that was probably my biggest issue with the movie though, the major bad guys didn't have a good enough death.

I really liked their take on the myth of Hercules, and how they tricked you into seeing mythical things from those stories and then showing they weren't what they seemed (the three headed dog, the centaurs etc). The closing credits were a fun watch

All in all id recommend it

I almost went to see this today. The kids and I couldn't agree. They thought it looked scary and I was not interested in seeing Earth to Echo. It was probably too violent for a 5 and 7 year old, so maybe it worked out for the best.

Hercules said frick once and there was a very nice shot of his wife's arse at one point so you may have made the right call

Definitely violent as well

Also I'd like to point out that the lineup of previews was pretty sweet

Interstellar looks amazballs

The Christian bale Moses movie looks incredible

The Dracula one looks boss

And the movie about the storm looks like a gigantic piece of crap.

I saw it on Friday. I really enjoyed it. I thought the bits of humor they had worked well. The first battle scene was really intense.

Iolaus: What sounds more terrifying: Hercules: Hero of Thrace or Hercules: The Legend Begins?
Auticlus: Neither. They both sound boring.

That actually sounds like a fun action movie that I would watch.

Thought about checking it out this evening. Gonna get around to watching it soon. Not expecting anything groundbreaking, but if I'm entertained for 2 hours then I'll be happy.
