Tornadoes, wind, hail, severe thunderstorms headed right our way. Hope aVAtiger has been watchin the forecast. 50% chance of tornadoes here. That's incredibly high odds for this region. Clinch Mountain is standing tall between us and the storm direction. That always helps. Glad I have the generator gassed up...

Runnin on generator now. Tornado got 4 houses, took the roof off a friends barn and shed and dropped it somewhere in Tennessee. Hailstones just a little bit over 4 inches. Worst that I can ever remember here in this area. Storm hit north side of the mountain and lifted over us, thank goodness. A mile away from us, folks weren't so lucky. May get power in two or three days. Another round is headed our way from Kentucky. Yall may get a taste of this if that cold front goes that far south. Hope not, though!

Thanks, TW! Didn't know they dropped the hammer on him. Figured he was just busy with other stuff. Maybe he'll be back soon? Here's a video of one of the tornadoes going through a subdivision about 15 miles from me as the crow flies. It's on one of the local television stations facebook page, but maybe this link will open ok? We just don't have tornadoes here very often. LINK

Holy crap, that's a big stone. Stay safe. We've been spoiled and when shite goes bad for a few hours we don't handle it well. We had an earthquake knock out some of our communications for a couple of days on Friday and I was miserable.
