Id like to praise our kickers of recent years

Our last couple of kickers to go through the program have been very good. Watching some of these throwback games made me realize it was not always like this. So to another good year of consistent kicking

Colby is as legit as kickers come. Happy he's a part of the program

The special teams under Miles have always been good, especially FG kicking.

Some really good kickers on that list. Special Teams are really easy to overlook until they bite you in the arse. Ask Bama fans

Hard to remember "punt ugly" in '05. Les has done well with special teams.

Yea Allemand's inability to consistently make anything longer than 40 yards was a big part of our '12 loss to Bama

Is it not true? We've had great kickers under Les. But it's the definition of homerism to laugh at Bama when their kicker cost them the game against us in 2011, but not acknowledge that Alleman had just as much culpability in our loss in 2012.

No, it isn't true. He made more from that distance than he missed during his time at LSU.
Cade Foster is the exact opposite. He missed more than he made while at Bama.

Colby certainly was a pleasant surprise last season and it looks like LSU is addressing this position very well, whether they recruit a kicker as part of the signing class or not.
