My book has Over 9.5 wins (-210).
Anyone think the Saints won't win 10 games in 2014?

I like the over too, but the value at -210 is terrible. With that said, I wouldn't bet the under either, even at +130 or whatever it might be.

if the over is -210, the under is probably closer to +170
If allowed and depending on the +/-, I'd consider bumping it to 10.5 and hitting the over.

Keep in mind, this isn't what they think what will happen, but they're trying to get money moving.

Can you buy a half a game and bump it to 10 even? That way at worst this season (10-6), you'd still push and I'm sure that would lower the line into < -170.
Either way, we're all homers, but I really do expect double digit wins from our boys this season.

in this case, I guarantee you they'd give a little more on the under because like paddy said, they want people to bet that...it'll probably go up to 10.5 when the season starts

I've sports gambled a good bit in my life
And sucks you can't buy a game. They clearly know what they are doing, damn it!!!
My buddy went to a sportsbook recently and saints were 25:1 odds to win the superbowl so I told him to put a lot down. Needless to say, nobody was there for 30 minutes so I couldn't get the bet in.

I'm thinking about a fairly small wager ($50 or so) on the -210 at 9.5 wins.
