Looks awesome. Why isnt it showing anywhere in Louisiana? If its so good why cant it get the funding to promote and show to a wider audience. I really want to see it but have no way to.

More people would rather see Sex Tape and Tammy apparently.

They are rolling it out slowly and "building" buzz. It will eventually get to the arty theatres in bigger cities.

Yeah I'm pretty upset it doesn't come to Ann Arbor until August 8th. I really want to see this film.

I hear you. I guess I'm lucky. I only have to drive about 30 min away to an Angelica. I need to go see this.

List of cities and release dates

Sucks that it is being rolled out so slow, but a buddy of mine saw this at SXSW and said it was incredible.

Can't wait

Was able to see it in DC this past weekend.

Great movie and worth going. Does drag a little at the end, but that is the only complaint. Director does a great job of creating realistic characters and interactions, and doesn't go too far and try to make the teenage version of the kid seem troubled, which is often the problem with coming of age stories. There was genius in the portrayal of the kid's normalcy.

Also, I was quite impressed with the performances by Hawke and Arquette.

It will show up in Baton Rouge at the AMC on O'Neil... I'll go see it and there'll be three other people in the theater... and then it'll be gone in a week.

Like Nebraska (except my wife and I were the only ones in the theater for Nebraska).

Yeah, I saw it at E street. Best theater in DC.

Also pretty awesome that they opened up an &Pizza next door. Love that place.

Richard Linklater is actually pushing filmmaking and that's a wonderful thing to see.

It actually looks pretty meh from the trailer. But I'm intrigued by the ratings and hype, so I'll watch it.

It keeps getting posted to YouTube, but it never stays up for long. Maybe you'll get lucky.

I've just seen it and can confirm this isn't true. Must see.

Good movie. Very Linklater. Gets better as it goes along and the kid grows up. I thought it was a pretty great achievement in filmmaking, while not being the best movie. Parts of it drag and jump, but I would say it is more than worth seeing.

I was able to catch it this afternoon. Pretty solid flick. Not the best thing I've ever seen, but it was solid. You were really able to connect with the characters as they aged. Not something I've experienced before. I think for that alone it is worth the watch. Also pretty identifiable if you were artsy in high school.
