Do you drive a truck even if you have a white-collar profession?

I see this much more with people in Baton Rouge than in New Orleans. I know number of lawyers and a couple of people in finance in Baton Rouge who drive trucks. Ive always wanted a GMC Sierra especially the new ones. Such a beautiful vehicle. Especially with the new led lights and wide grille. Culturally it just doesn't seem to go here though. Everyone here drives sedans or SUVs. Especially not in my neighborhood. I bet someone would call the cops.

Drive what you like.

Who cares what everyone else thinks?

Get one if you want one. The crew cabs have just as much room as a sedan and it will always come in handy when you have to haul something. Dont worry about your neighbors. They will probably ask to borrow it one day.

You can have a white collar profession and still need a truck on the weekends.

All depends on what you like to do outside of work.

You got to have a truck to get to your thousand-acre hunting property in the delta, do you not? I thought you were an OT baller....

What? You mean white collar professionals like to fish and hunt or otherwise haul/carry large things?

sure...I work in an office, but every single one of my hobbies requires a truck...hunting, fishing, tailgating at football games...hell, even filling a gas can to run the lawnmower needs to be done with a pickup truck, IMO...
