Now tell me why we have to sell out our principles, lay low and just cave on every issue so we don't "risk winning the senate"? What good is winning the senate if these same clowns are going to be the ones running it, the same ones spending $50,000 on attack ads painting conservatives as racist KKK members.
Why do we want these people in charge of the senate?

Mississippi attack ads that painted conservative Republicans and tea partyers as racists were funded by Senate Republicans, RedState Editor-in-Chief Erick Erickson has confirmed.
Advertisements by All Citizens for Mississippi, which attacked state Sen. Chris McDaniel and painted conservatives as racists, were partly funded by Sens. Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, Rob Portman, Bob Corker and Roy Blunt, RedState reported.
“Mississippi Conservatives, in turn, was funded in part by Sally Bradshaw of the RNC’s Growth and Opportunity Project, former RNC Chairman and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, the United States Chamber of Commerce, and the political action committees created for Senators Mitch McConnell ($50,000), John Cornyn ($50,000), Rob Portman ($25,000), Bob Corker ($25,000), and Roy Blunt ($5,000),” the report said.

That would pretty much be the entire GOP Senate leadership.
The two names in leadership which aren't on there are John Thune and John Barasso, who are officers of the Republican Conference along with Blunt.

Been asking that same question for a while now. If you really want change, you have to vote for change. In other words, clean house.

The only reason I vote R is they believe in lower taxes.

Let's not forget Michael Bloomberg contributing $250,000 to the effort.
Is this what we want from the party supposedly representing conservatives?

Well, it'll be trust but verify from here on in. You could argue that they believe that Thad is a sho-in and McDaniel maybe not. Endangering the Senate flippin. Valid argument. So....!
ETA...the Insider Trading thing is enough to tell you just what manner of character they possess. Disgusting really.

Kind of set himself up for such a charge if you think about it. His whole campaign was cut, cut, cut but the ones who get cut are you know......

McDaniel's support was KKK wrapping itself in great tea party ideals to cloak it. If you grew up here in MS and you can't see it, you are either in denial or blind.

I guess that's why Kim Wade was and still is supporting McD on his radio show. Oh, I forgot Kim is an Uncle Tom. While McD might not have been the right guy; Thad has had his time and its over. If he would have stepped down (retired) we would have had a much better selection of candidates to replace him.
I talked to a strong Thad supporter after the runoff and he said if McD would have run he would vote for Childress but he can't fathom the thought that McD supports would vote for Childress over Thad. Same concept just different sides of the vote.

They get on Fox News and say mainly all the right things...then as soon as the tv cameras go off they shuffle over to the local watering hole and drink martinis with Reid and Pelosi.....Its the biggest damn piece of bullshite in this country. "Get in power, stay in power"...Oh yeah and once you are here we will help you stay.....Biggest good ole boys club in America but the problem is that they have power over every damn one of us.

Did I say that? No, he's an ultra lib. The fact that he would contribute $250k to Thad's campaign says a lot about Thad though.
