It expires today. Someone told me they fine you if you go in to renew it and it's expired

Yes.

And I don't think there's a fine for renewing after your license is expired, could be wrong about that though.

Don't wait 2 years like I did and re-take everything all over again. You should've renewed ONLINE! So damn convenient!

Go to a title transfer place, pay the extra money and be done with it in 5 minutes.

$18 is MORE than a bargain to not have to deal with any DMV.

I did it once online already and apparently don't get that option twice in a row. Might as well grab it today while I have some time

Just renewed mine a week ago..! You can do it at any DMV in the state which you reside. You have a 10 day grace period, after that, there is a $10.00 late fee. I had to go in because I was changing my address. The total was $24.50 + $1.50 because I used my debit card.

I just did mine last week and I was under the impression you can't do it online anymore. I asked about it and they said they don't do stickers anymore.

The DMVs in Lafayette and Lake Charles aren't bad at all.

You're looking at a 20 minute wait max just to renew a license.

Had no idea you could do this. Thought they all operated on a cash only basis

Happy birthday. DMV is not where I'd like to spend it.

Hookers and blow once you're done.

The policy used to be that you could only renew online once with the sticker, then you had to go to a DMV to renew the next time. It seemed convenient to me until I realized that 90% of the time I had to use my ID the person requesting it would point out that it was expired until I directed them to the back.

Wasn't a problem at bars, but when you have to scan or fax a copy of your DL, then it sucked donkey balls.

I promise you you will wait longer at the DMV than any title transfer location that does license renewals.

You can renew online. They send you a new license with the same picture.
