I throw mine in a kentwood water jug daily. Usually takes about a year to fill one up. I use cash for just about everything so I end up with plenty of change

Just wondering

Hardly ever use cash, so hardly ever have change. Most of it ends up in the console of my car.

when my piggy bank gets full I put it all in gallon bags and bring it to my bank to deposit it then check my account in a couple of days to see how much it was

I put it in a simply lemonade container. After it fills up I take it to coinstar and get a amazon voucher.

Depends on how much I have. Normally I just roll it and deposit it. The SO and I will use that as extra spending money for a nice dinner from time to time

Speaking of this, I have a lot of change from our yardsale that I need to take to the bank. Some Mexican ladies came about 3 times and paid almost $50 in dimes and nickels

I don't collect change. It's dirty and inefficient.

I have a bank account, debit card, credit cards, and pay bills online. Learn how to track your money.

Also use cash for most things.

Use to save it for a year in a big old water jug and it would be my spring break funds.

Now just keep putting it in a jug.

Well, it's probably at least $1,000

One drunken night down in the quarter I had lost my wallet and my buddy was going to have to pick up the cab fair to his place in Metairie. When we got to his place he told me to wait there while he went inside and got the cash...I was certain he was going to lock me out and go to bed, but I was wrong.

About a minute later he came out with a kentwood bottle about half filled, opened the passenger door buckled the jug into the front seat and told the driver to keep the change.

I didn't think he would take it, but he smiled, laughed and said thanks then drove off. The next morning my buddy was pissed!!!
