One difference:
The Israelis protect their women and children with rockets.
Hamas protects its rockets with women and children.
Another difference:
Israel kills the innocent by accident, regrets it, tries to issue warnings, uses restraint, etc.
Hamas only regrets their attacks don't kill more Israeli women and children.
Why? Because they cannot fight the IDF straight up and even survive, much less win an encounter.
Cowards.
The Israelis protect their women and children with rockets.
Hamas protects its rockets with women and children.

Both sides are culpable. It's well known Hamas uses human shields, but Israel's aggression and settlement policies are also obscene.

There are no innocents in war or expectation of such. Rare is a war over who's innocent but ideology, religion, or wanting what the others have, you want, and go get.

I have to say, I am completely behind Israel retaliating every time a rocket is launched their way. however, killing kids on a beach is unnacceptable...they simply have to do better than that...

Hamas is basically a terrorist agency acting like a government, but Israel doesn't help things with their apartheid attitude towards other religions

They may not be innocent but I do believe the only reason Palestinian civilians are getting killed and not Israelis is because Israel is so much more capable of protecting itself with that Iron Dome. Hamas has sent hundreds or rockets indiscriminately into Israel. If all defenses were equal I imagine the civilian casualties on both sides would be equally horrendous.
