So.. this one, 3-month period had an average temperature higher than the average temperature of the last century? Is that the headline? I want to make sure I'm understanding it.

I do appreciate the warm weather, more fishing, swimming and kids can play outside.

An average higher temperature when corrected for seasonal variation i.e. the warmest April+May+June.

When adjusting for coach variations, UT has won 3 consecutive SEC titles.

Why do they correct the temp for seasonal variation? Why not just report the observed temp? (not trolling seriously want to know the answer)

Which records would those be? The local ones? Or is there some alternate reality where the surface temperatures for the past three months have actually been the lowest since 1880?

What would have happened if man was around in the last ice age? Would that have been the perfect temperature?

Both sides do this, while claiming to be doing it to point out the hypocrisy of the other lately

Meanwhile, what have the consensus forecasts called for, relative to where we are?

Yes - because comparing April-May-June of this year to April-May-June of other years is exactly like that. Thanks!
