Trying to find somewhere in the Hammond/Amite/Ponchatoula area for a rehearsal dinner. One place quoted me for $30-$35 a person for a sit down dinner, either fish or steak. Is that about right?

In New Orleans, dinner is between $85-$125 a person. So that sounds great.

It really depends on where you have it and what's included. Apps, salad, dessert, liquor, flowers or other decor, number of people....and, most importantly, what you are looking for as far as quality and items included. That price sounds inexpensive, so I'd want to know what's what.

not sure if roux and brew in ponchatoula does weddings or not, but all the reports i've heard is that the food is excellent.
same people as who used to operate the restaurant c'est bon in downtown. same location too. i thought it was as good as any creole/seafood restaurant in new orleans.

Mine was about $110/head including beer/wine. 3 course.
