Watching the UNC game, and you sometimes forget the who's who that was on this defense. Fricking crazy.

Peterson,Sheppard, Baker, Claiborne, Badger, Eric Reid, Big Sam, Nevis, Brandon Taylor, Minter, Adams, Mingo, Logan, Brockers, Barrow, Ron Brooks

Why was our rush defense ranked like 56th?

I remember early in 2010 we used to bring Mingo around and line stand him up next to sam, and they were just unstoppable.

Then Sam hurt his knee and i think our overall team suffered from it.

They were a special group. Here's a pic from my seats at the Florida game that year.

All 14 names mentioned in the NFL. Pretty impressive.

Allowed a late drive to almost lose the game in the end and multiple unnecessary touchdowns to a bad team that was decimated by NCAA violations and had lost 3 or 4 starters. The whole team and coach eventually imploded by years end.

Another LSU game that really sucked to watch, a staple of the Miles tenure, we saw it in the Ole Miss games as well, play down to lesser opponents and either lose or almost lose the game. Sad, really.

That pretty much sums up you and your crappy attitude. Sad, tragically sad.

UNC recivers dropped two winning touchdowns in the end zone at the end of the game. that would have been a pretty bad let down to start the season off with.

thank goodness for patrick peterson

An under performing D with a lot of young talent and came on strong at the end

Sounds like last year

I remember injuries forcing a young and rail-skinny Eric Reid into a game late in the year (Tennessee maybe?) and him playing lights out from there on

many of those players still had to develop that season. That is why we were so dominate in 2011 on the defensive side. Still in a way in 2012, but than in 2013 when all of these guys left we fell off big time.

Some of the games were good that year, just not that one. We were commenting on that game, it was a crappy game. Many in this thread have said so, not just me. I choose not to put lipstick on a pig when it's not indicated, you don't. Doesn't mean I have a crappy attitude, I just see that game as being crappy, and it was.

If you have such a violent reaction to everything I say as 'not important' why do you have the desire to comment on everything I say then? You either have an obsession with me or in the back of your mind you know what I'm saying is the truth, and that bothers you somehow.
