How do you feel about flying?

I flew for the first time this week. I was very nervous the entire flight. I would say it will get easier, but I don't know if that is something I could get used to. It was a Boeing 737-700. It was not a smooth flight at all coming into New Orleans this morning.

I love it. I sleep better on a plane than I can in a bed, its weird.

Love flying, but dealing with airports can be a pain in the arse.

Never bothered me, but I prefer driving if it's doable time wise.

I've never had a problem with flying.

I drift to sleep as the plane takes off so I like it

I actually enjoy the flight itself...I find the accelleration on takeoff to be really cool....don't care much for landings, though...
the thing that really turns me off to the whole mode of travel is just having to deal with airlines and airports...the whole experience is the epitome of shitty customer service...

I love flying, until I get to the concourse and see who will be on my flight, then I start profiling, as wrong as it may be..

This. I imagine it was an enjoyable experience back I the golden age of flying when on only young hot single girls could be stewardesses.

Flying itself is great. I just hate the shitty airports and customer service that often come with it.

10000 or so commercial flights occurred today across the world ... nothing went wrong ...
and, if you're just uneasy about flying, i'd bet 95 % of all accidents occur within the first 30 minutes of take off ... so if you make it that far, you should be pretty good ...

Have never slept on the plane until the flight I am currently on. It helps a ton if you get nervous.
Usually I just surf the internet until I feel the plane begin to takeoff then go into airplane mode until 10k ft and turn on wifi.
Now if only they had a cure for travel balls.

I don't like it but that's mostly because I don't like people or being around them.
Just glad I don't have a job that requires frequent air travel.

I don't fly Southwest very often but do enjoy watching the jockeying for the thin not so smelly people in group c to sit in your center row.

I will fly if I have to. Don't enjoy it. I like people watching in airports, though.

I used to have a mental clock for 5 minutes set. After 5 minutes I figured I was good. I have nothing to back that up, but it made be feel better.
