Just got off a plane, it gets easier the more you do it, unless there is turbulence.

no big deal at all

I've never had any issues in the air, and only 1 crazy wobbly landing

The stewards are gay. Don't smile and nod to them as they walk by, or they'll end up trying to pick you up.

Love flying.

Hate airports and the stupid people that congregate there.

I was on a flight into Guiyang, China in the middle of a rainstorm a few years back. Obviously the pilot didn't have it level and sat the right side down and slammed on the breaks. I almost crapped my pants when that joker pulled hard to the right. To top it off when the left wheel touched down it pulled back and he almost over corrected and we veered back and forth down the runway.

This is what makes flying awful to me. The cattle aspect of it doesn't help.

Safer than driving, so I'm cool with it.

I love airplanes. I love being at the airport. It just feels like an adventure.

As mentioned, on a flight right now.

Woman right next to me carried on this water bottle and just opened it at 37k. Soaked down about 5 people on two rows. :roflmao:

People that bring fast food on a flight make me nervous.

I like flying. Don't mind it a bit. If you hate planes, do yourself a favor and never get on a helicopter

I enjoy the takeoffs and landings, but in between it can get pretty boring.

I freaking love flying. I have been on almost 100 segments so far this year. Now that I get put in the front on 80+% of flights it is even nicer. I get great sleep on long flights too. In fact looking for an international trip to take a nice vacation now. Had I not blown miles on 6 round trips so far this year I would fly to the South Pacific.

I don't mind it but I also fly fairly often and get upgrades and have club access. Without any sort of status, flying is a little bit more of a pain in the arse. Either way, I've never had major issues with the actual flying. I've gotten to the point where I can sleep on planes fairly easily now, too. Thank god. I would just get doped up if you are nervous.

CaptainJ: 100 segments already? Jesus Christ dude, that sounds miserable

Here's a great tip from a former Pan Am flight attendant. When it gets bumpy from turbulence, compare it to driving down a gravel road.

Now we're talking. I fly on S-92's most often, but every now and then I'll find myself on a S-76 or AW-139.
