Getting the first goal meant everything. Once we got that early cushion, the defence was calm, cool, and collected the rest of the match. Jags even made an incredible clearance on the back line early on.

McGeady was also on his game. He created a ton of chances, which was great to see.

The team were very composed today, but there's still a lot of work to do (i.e. finishing on the attack). It's a step in the right direction though.

if these stats are accurate, Naismith's passing % is 75.8%
which is tied for 202nd of out of 292 players, in a list that includes goalkeepers

he missed 1/4 of his passes, and a lot of those that are completed go to Lukaku who has the touch of a curb

Noon on Fox Sports 2

It's also on Fox Sports Go and Fox Soccer 2 Go if watching at work (which I am not because I skipped so I can booze up all day and make pedophile jokes)

Nice. I smell a 1-1 draw. Take care of business at Goodison.

Starting XI: Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Oviedo, McCarthy, Barry, Naismith, Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku.

Subs: Joel, Gibson, Besic, Atsu, Alcaraz, Garbutt, C.Duffus

Looks like the typical one winger line up. Oh, and we got a 19 yr old Duffus on the bench

Time for a sacking. We won't, but we should. This is absurd.
