Just ask yourself what would happen if Israel laid down their weapons, and compare it to what would happen if Palestine laid down theirs..... I believe there would be peace in only one of those situations

Not an expert on Israel or their history but I think everyone would agree that if the Jewish state was allowed to exist it would be much more peacful

Good post. But one thing in the beginning I don't get. He said their was a nation called Palestine prior in 1947. I understood that there was no such state.

yeah, I always hear "arabs want all jews dead"...why didn't they kill them in the 1800-1900's if that was the case.
the brits and arabs agreed to work together to defeat the ottomans to win their independence.... only for the Brits to reneg and give the land and choice areas to the Jews instead.....then they flooded into palestine kicking arabs off land that they had lived and worked for a millenia
The jews looked down on the arabs and would mock and antagonize the arabs...and then violence started....escalating each year

There's a guy on another LSU board, he may post here once in a while. Palestinian American, Orthodox Christian. His family was run off their land in 1948. His grandfather was a university professor who was beaten to death by an Israeli Neither side has clean hands over there, and it's not a black and white issue..

How dare those dirty Muslims object to being ethnically cleansed from their homeland. Is that a decent summary of the video?
I'm sick to death of Israel this and Israel that. Our govt is bought and paid for by AIPAC. As a result, every bit of Muslim terror that we receive in the U.S. is our just reward.
I'm an American. What happens to a bunch of Jews in some sandpit in the M.E. makes me zero difference. They only cause us problems with zero benefit. John Hagee and the rest of the NeoCon Ziotards can piss up a rope. They're liars and thieves.

I believe the vast majority of Israelis want peace. I also believe the vast majority of Palestinians want peace.
Peace is not the prime objective of the Palestinian or Israeli governments and their allies. Peace will not achieve their objectives.
This video is repulsively stupid regardless of which side you take in the issue. Over 100 years of history in this conflict cannot be boiled down to a neat animation and a disney bouncing ball at the bottom of the screen.
