Do the customer service chat..You may get a new one before they get yours back (if they even ask for it back)

In the time it took you to post your question you could have had a preprinted, postage paid return label from amazon.

Just go to your account and click on the item and it should have returns on it, then click on that and print the label

If it was shipped from amazon I don't think you pay for shipping

Amazon is the best.. Call, email or chat. You will have a new one sent to you before you send in the old one and then generally 30 days to return the old one.

Ever had to deal with your cable providers customer service? Amazon is the complete opposite of that

Go on the site, print off the return label, slap it in the box and send it back to them.

I returned pretty much an entire computer last time I built one and everything was opened and used. They don't care.

Yep,

I just ordered a phone case for my note 3 that has a plastic window to see part of the screen through. Part of the plastic had a small scuff, not enough to affect use, but enough that it bothered me considering it was supposed to be new.

I was shipped another one and told not to worry about sending the original back.

This all happened (from original order to receiving replacement) within 5 days

Amazon will make it right
(I do have prime for over a year and this is my first return, and it was only a 40 dollar purchase, but im fairly certain you won't be treated any differently if you don't pay for prime)

I don't know how it works if you just used the free prime shipping, but I paid 3.99 for 1 day, so they honored that on the replacement. I doubt they are required to do this, but worth asking about.

Also, I was blown away that I ordered something and had it in less than 21hours at my door. Ive never paid for the upgraded shipping, but definitely was worth the 4 bucks.

They will take it back, send you a new one, or refund $, or replace with your choosing. they will pay all shipping of returned and new goods. And they will make sure that she delivers the new one and blows you while she's there:

Are you a Prime member? If so, they'll ship you a new one before you even send back the old one. They will provide you with a label to just take to a Fed Ex or UPS stor.

Why do people ask the OT for questions when there are paid experts that do this for a living that can assist?

Contact Amazon.

I bought condoms on Amazon 3 years ago and 1 of them broke. Amazon paid for the abortion.

sure it would have taken me two seconds to get on my amazon account and do this, but I wanted to actually hear about some experiences with returns.

I wasn't asking for a step by step guide on how I return something
