I like Bony and I think he'd be fantastic cover and a could offer a real spark off the bench, but losing him for 3+ weeks for the African Cup of Nations in January will suck. If he's out and Sturridge misses any time, we're left pretty damn thin in a very important time of year.

That's a good point, didn't think of that. I would be ok with Bony though, he's a proven PL goal scorer, good age and is dying to be at LFC. We would just have to hope Sturridge is healthy at that time and I haven't given up on Lambert yet and he could help cover those 3 weeks in January.

Question... say Daniel were to go down for 2 months in December and Bony was on the team... Could we flat out, not allow Bony to leave? Or would that be considered a big unwritten no, no...
edit: I'm guessing it would have bad implications all around... probably not worth it, even to try and hold the line until DS was back...

I think it would always be the player's choice due to ACN being covered by the FIFA "5 day rule"

I actually think Bony is a lot better player than Remy. I was not a big fan of the Remy deal and I quite liked it falling through. Bony I would be happy with.
