Nothing to see here. They will still keep voting for a party that takes them for granted, and has done serious damage to their economic well being.

The African American element of the Democratic Party gave up their bargaining power when they started voting for Democrat politicians at rates of 90+%.
Why pander to a group that you already have under your control?

Jeez. Man it is a great thing black voters have you to inform them of this!
I think Republicans should embark on a campaign across the nation - to inform all of these uniformed blacks they are being taken advantage of - maybe the slogan can be
"Don't you know you're being duped, boy? "
Its sure to gain more black votes for the GOP!

So how are blacks doing with joblessness homelessness and crime since BHO was elected?
Just great I bet.

That does not refute my statement.
Bargaining power is in relation to their ability to convince/demand certain actions from the party in "payment" for their votes.
They would have a stronger bargaining position if the threat of voting for the other party existed. In their case, it does not.
The Democratic Party has nothing to fear from that voting bloc.
I figured I wouldn't have to explain that concept to you, Tuba. You are smarter than that.

Another remarkably asinine take from you.
Per fricking par.

Democrats are more than happy to roll into African-American communities every couple of years, talk about how bad they'd have it if it weren't for the caring rich white liberals, bus them to polling booths, and roll out for the next few years, covering their eyes and ears to the suffering that continues to plague these communities.

Yup.
When you block vote like this, you give up lobbying leverage.

You're so awesome.
You need to campaign for the good side.

what floors me is 99% of black voters don't know what the f&ck they are voting for. they just all vote democrat because they are threatened if they don't
go find the average black guy and ask him to name the top 3 reasons other than color that he voted for Obama

And trust me, I already do! And so does my family.
Dad is president of the Brazos Valley GOP club right now. I keep telling him to run for local office.

Yup. If I am ever fortunate enough to get a convo with a black person past their shock that I didn't vote for Obama and actually onto the issues, more often than not their views are not being championed by the party they support. It irks me greatly.
Vote for whomever you wish, but make it an informed, purposeful vote.
Dios mio...

Howdy.
Did I say that right?
And I know you voice your political opinions, and I respect the hell out of that. But your conservative beliefs are rare, especially in the south. So is your love for nascar and country music.

True, and I struggle to keep that in mind sometimes
That's why I just try to preface things by saying you don't have to vote like i do or like what I like, but please please don't just vote Dem because "that's what we do."
Such a dangerous line of thinking IMO.

It's called respecting other people's opinion.
My dad votes blind democrat. I respect his opinion. I think his opinion has changed over the last few years though.
