Admit I haven't followed closely the border stuff

But doesn't Obama realize it's his fault and his "phone and pen" that had caused the massive migration of teen and pre teen kids to put themselves in deadly situations to cross the boarder?
Now he is saying be doesn't want photo-ops but wants be down by the boarder to see first hand (what he is single handedly causing) in front of a podium and Teleprompter to let everyone know he needs more money of theirs to spend to make sure to house and take care of these poor kids he indirectly invited.
Am I wayyy off base on this? If so would you please educate or help

Thanks fellas and females. This really is a great political board no matter how much people try and talk shite about it. You won't find a board that doesn't have it's amount of trolls that try to derail a thread or certain threads that just attract the hive mentality but over all you not going to find a better political discussion board on the net. Not gunna happen. So props.

Likewise, I have not followed this story very closely, but honestly, what has caused the surge in immigrants? Something doesn't add up.

This "crisis" was created by the administration. They put out ads for bids in JANUARY for contractors to transport illegals... months before they started showing up.

Well I live in Yuma, a border town. They have been flying in illegals and sending them to California. It's only happened twice and is not as bad here as other places.

The democrats passed a bill that gives them citizenship if they get a college degree. The Obama Administration has made sure that the border patrol aren't allowed to stop anyone. They also stopped deporting minors. That motivated minors to come in droves to try to become citizens. The bigger questions are these:
1. Most of these minors are from central America, not Mexico. How are they traveling the 1500 miles + across Mexico?
2. It costs upwards of $12,000 per person for the Coyotes to smuggle you across the desert into the U.S. If these people are supposed to be dirt poor, who's paying the coyotes?
I can't help but wonder if it's our government.

Mexico is aiding the Central American refugees in order to get some sort of amnesty agreement so as to increase their GDP.
Mexicans in America currently send over $20B back to Mexico every year making Mexicans in America one of the top 5 industries of Mexico. It's a no brainer for the Mexican government.

Rush said the best way to put a stop to this would be to meet the immigrants in Mexico and give them shirts/shoes/banners that say "I can't wait to vote Republican!"

Herein lies the problem, the majority of people in the country do not realize that this guy (Obama and his minions) are purposely creating all of these fiascoes as part of the Cloward-Piven strategy. When they do realize what they've done it will be too late !

I wonder how all of the immigrants are going through the proper channels to become citizens feel about this. Since the left is so concerned with fairness, then if anyone gets amnesty, shouldn't it be for those that are going about becoming a citizen the LEGAL way?

They hate it. I work with and know quite a few legal immigrants. They spent a lot of money and time going through the legal process only to watch this bullshite.
