I'm sure this is German but does this bother anyone else? I just found out they accept it today. I'll be honest it kinda bothers me.

I'm just mad that these fricking poors have the audacity to breathe the same air as the rest of us. What gall.

Why? There are quite a few items at WF that are cheaper than supermarket prices. I make it a point to stock up on certain items whenever I shop there because they're so cheap.

Do you realize how small of a fraction of a percent of the federal budget goes to helping needy with food stamps?

Because large corporations are more than happy to suck at the government teet? Yeah, it bothers me too.

I find it funny how the complaints about food stamps on here are directed at the individuals using them and not at the corporations that lobby the government to hand out more so that they can benefit.

Food stamps should be for the absolute necessities. Milk, bread, eggs, meat (not steaks and shite), water, etc. Not anything you can eat at the grocery.

It bothers me that people try to use a grocery store as a status symbol

It's less about the fact that they are poor and more about the fact that they are ok with being poor and using others money to fund their lives.

i just think that if you are "poor" enough require gubment assistance you shouldnt have the privilege to go to a premium grocery store and over spend the taxpayers money.

on another note if your on food stamps i really believe you should only be able to buy necessities like bread, meat, cheese, fruit juice eggs and the like. just my opinion

The concepts of welfare and the way the Louisiana purchase cards work bothers me... but not that they are accepted at Whole Foods.

Just shop at Colandro's - no poors there because they don't take EBT.
