In March he said he was going to transfer to pursue a masters degree & (hopefully) get the chance to kick fg's. Any word on where he transferred?

Dillard University in New Orleans
Hairston Quote on Dillard: "They got an excellent corporate structure and they... *they* give *you* the tools to be your own boss.
Well there you have it seems to be headed down the right track.

Are we expecting our true freshman kicker to actually provide us touchbacks this year? Or will Colby be taking kickoffs?

KOs, yes.. Touchbacks? Dunno.
I asked Les at a luncheon if they coached our kickers to kick it high and to the goal line vs just trying to blast it out of the end zone.
He went on for 2-3 minutes that he tells the kicker to try and pick out an opposing fan sitting in the seats beyond the back of the end zone and blast the ball right at their face.

Gamble has a huge leg

It's a bit of a Gamble to rely on a freshman to kickoff.

FGs and onside kicks are one thing....if he can just kick it into the end zone in most cases let him boot the shite out of it.
Not sure what "rely on" would be for that.

Hairston did it in 2011 so we can expect Gamble to do it in 2014

RICE....met with him in Houston couple of weeks ago (family friend from Dallas). Hopefully he has a good percentage of makes and gets a shot at an NFL Team. He misses LSU but excited at the opportunity he has at RICE

I'm not willing to put up with Olindo Mare any of these puns.

Yeah let's get back on topic. I think Coach Miles needs to take a Morestead fast approach to the kickoff duties this year.

Why Delahoussaye? Please repeat that.
