Carrabba's is probably the best chain restaurant out there. My sister loves it and when she wants to go to dinner in Shreveport and choses this place I have no issue with it. Their pastas are pretty tasty.

You ever been to one? It's 100x better than some dogshit place like Semolina's. Hell I'd go to Carrabba's over Cafe Giovanni.

Because I doubt it. Admittedly I've never been to the original, but the chain is pretty awful.

Never been impressed with Carraba's. We had really bad luck twice in 2 weeks and we placed near unbearable customers both times. I know it's not the restaurant's fault, but it sucked.
People raved about the mussels, but I think the ones at Bonefish are better.

I mean it's not on par with Vincent's or Mariza, etc. obviously. But back in high school / college when I actually ate at chain restaurants it was my favorite outside of Outback (which used to be pretty awesome for the price btw). It's definitely better food than Olive Garden or Macaroni Grill. The mezzaluna pasta is pretty damn good. Never been into the kitchen, but I would be surprised if it was all canned and bagged food. Could be wrong though; whatever they're doing my taste buds approve.

I would eat at the one on Kirby in Houston on the regular back in my Htown days. Never had a bad meal.

I don't agree. There are a lot of chains I'd pick first. Bonefish is better, IMO. Cracker Barrel is better for what it is. PF Changs. That's just off the top of my head.

It's no good. People have this nostalgia thing going on with it, I'm convinced. Sure, it was good back when you were 6 and you stopped there on your vacation drive. It's not good anymore. Face it.
