Michael Clayton or Jarvis Landry. I'm going with Clayton on the hits and Landry on spectacular catches. Both are my top two favorite lsu wide receivers.

Why?
Ask a relevant question next time please.
Examples.... Better downfield blocker?
Better yac guy?
Tougher over middle?

Hardest hitter

Clayton may still be an NFL player if he had stayed at safety

Michael Clayton or Jarvis Landry.
If you were at the Auburn game in BR and saw Clayton blow up that guy on punt coverage (north end), you'd have to vote Clayton. Haven't seen anything like it since - include Landry's hits.

"LSU successfully ran a surprise onside kick which, along with a hit by Michael Clayton on Auburn returner Roderick Hood a few minutes later, set the tone for the game resulting in a 27–14 LSU victory." LINK

BTW... I looked for a video of that hit and came up empty. Anybody got a link??

You seem mad

Maybe next time you could start a thread about who has softest hands, Ethan Pocic or Chris Hawkins?
Be just as relevant.

Clayton was a helluva blocker. I seem to remember the bubble screen being our best play in 2003. With maybe Skylar Green on the receiveing end? All the seasons are starting to run together in my old age....

it was a kickoff coverage hit. it was a big hit, but IMO it wasn't any harder than Landry's. Regardless, neither hits were hits that would warrant a reaction of "never seen anything like it" as there are bigger hits or hits just as hard every year on special teams, just not necessarily by wide receivers

here is clayton's:

here is landry's:

you be the judge

it has to be landry. clayton's hit was a great tackle, but landry hit onterio so hard that he drove his helmet past him and into the turf.

and i'm guessing TIGERLEE would say that pocic has the softest hands, if that is meant to be a positive attribute.
