Then why would they list the Heat as favorites?

Have to do that until LeBron decides where hes playing. Vegas only cares about not losing money.

I thought most books took down the option of betting on next season's NBA champ as soon as it was reported that Bron was opting out... figured that wouldn't be back up until things settled back down

It was something like 60/1 last week. 30/1 Friday. 18/1 on Sunday. Just a lot of people betting so the lines are moving.

How nice would it be to get the inside scoop that Bron was going to the 6ers and fire a couple grand down with the 650/1 odds

Exactly.

They have to cover all their bases, there's no reason to stick their neck out on long distance bets right now anyway.

Well having the Suns at 60/1 and Hawks at 85/1 still kinda kills this..... because I could see him in PHX just as easy as the Cavs

Philly could be a great basketball town again if Bron went to the 76ers. Young team with cap space..... and he could make some people rich with the 650/1 odds

Those odds mean no one is betting on the suns or hawks to win the championship

If the Cavs chances are higher, shouldn't the Heat's chances be lowered?
