I'm thinkin Hell Yeah, the more these losers fire up the blunts, eat Doritos and watch the tube the better, should bode well for conservatives in future elections, unless the Libs start offering a blunt for a vote conservatives should regain control of the country and get this great country back to being the envy of the world.

The extreme religious right is aging and dying. The younger religious right has a much smaller portion of people who care about this issue.

Why the stereotype that weed legalization is owned by the libs? Are the religious right just having their way with the GOP? So it's really the religious right that's fricking up the country? Gottit

This.

The reason I don't do drugs is the same reason I don't drink, it's all bad for my health and will wreck my body, not some law telling me not to do something with my body.

we all know that it's coming in the next 10-20....see what else CA forced the rest of the Nation to accept. Just legalize MJ, and crop the crap out of it.

or do you just wanna "lose the good fight"?

Conservatives already have. Republicans, otoh, don't care about fiscal responsibility anyway. So they will continue to fail in their war on drugs and in National elections.

Yes it is, but I wonder if drugs, all drugs were legal what would the consequences be? We already have a large portion of the population with very little ambition/motivation can you imagine these frickers whacked all day? Something tells me we would probably regret the complete legalization of all drugs.

Yep.

End the war on drugs and poverty.

Put the drinking age back to 18.

Let the individuals deal with those consequences.

i actually don't support 100% legalization, but certainly the current laws need to be laxed

Oh yeah. A lot of people would regret it. Mostly big pharma and for-profit prisons. Which is why across the board legalization won't happen.
