In a statement, the American sportswear company said "the terms that were on offer for a renewed contract did not represent good value for Nike's shareholders".

It is thought that either Germany's Adidas or Warrior will replace them.

Unless something else changes that would mean the only Nike clubs in the EPL will be City and QPR. They should pick up Villa.

Nike should probably dump Brazil after today's performance.

I'm not sure what to think of this. I mean I probably won't be buying a shirt with that awful Chevy logo on it anyways, so I guess its not a huge deal for me.

I wish the US soccer would find someone else. It makes me mad how countries like France can get really nice looking kits, but the US seems to get crap generic ones.

They used to hook up Joakim Noah's pappy with some sweet gear back in the day.

So we should sport some Adidas denim again? I saw a girl at one of the watch parties I went to in one of those shirts.

They have the market share for cleats so I don't know if jerseys are a requirement to stay relevant.

Damn, they better hang on to Barca since that is their most profitable kit deal.

They just signed a long term, big money deal with AS Roma and also supposedly putting money into the shopping area of Roma's new stadium.

I believe they just extended longer term with Inter as well.

Word is that United will be entering into a big money deal with Adidas. Possibly a 10-year agreement in the range of 65-75M pounds per year.
