The NFL is openly exploring the idea of moving its draft out of New York City for 2015, but if this tweet from Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram is any indication, there's a chance the league could appoint two host cities.

I wouldn't be surprised if the NFL holds the first round of the draft in LA and the rest in Chicago.
@NFLCharean
What will be interesting is how many players commit to attending. NYC is a draw.

It should be held in the city of the team making the #1 pick

Goodell just can't resist tinkering with shite and fixing things that aren't broken

Yeah. It seems to me they're tweaking too much, trying to hard to bring it less out of the niche and more into the mainstream. But drafts are inherently boring and there's not much reason for casual fans to watch, since they can stay updated through other ways. NFL is gonna end up pissing off their core draft audience.

you realize the first pick gets traded a lot right?
and no one wants to go to Cleveland to hear their name called

I would be fine with this if they moved it back to Saturday for the first 2 rounds and Sunday for the rest.

The NFL draft won't be the same without all the video of Jets fans losing their shite at team management.
Jets fans may travel to Philly to get embarassed but I doubt they go to LA.

What? They went crazy in excitement when they took Sanchez
By their reaction you would have thought the Jets drafted Jesus Christ

I get at least considering the move from NYC. But i cannot understand having rd 1 in a location, then moving everything to another location for the rest of the draft. Why? I dont understand why you would want to do that.

awful idea. it all needs to be in one local

I actually like this idea. Doesn't seem to feasible but I like it.

Logistically, how would that work?
The players in the green room that don't get drafted in the first round would have to fly to Chicago?
