I apologize if I'm beating a dead horse here. I'm seeing more and more people predicting Beckwith to be slated as the starter for the Wisky game.
While I am rooting for Beckwith to take Welter's starting position, as he is clearly the more athletic option, I thought the position was pretty much Welter's for the start of the season at least and maybe down the road Beckwith could unseat him.
Have there been reports of Beckwith doing good in the Spring or something? I'm a little in the dark here.

Everything I've read says that Welter will be the #1 guy going into Fall. Apparently he had a great Spring. Chief did make a point of saying that Beckwith also had an great Spring and will push Welter for PT. Right now, it's all about who is most familiar with the D and getting people lined up. Let's see how things shake out in the Fall.
