Went there for the first time recently.

I love hot dogs. Haven't had a good one in awhile. Got the Nacho Mama, with cheese, jalapenos, bacon bits, and pico de gallo. Very good. Warm. And not overly sloppy. It looks like they have a bunch of good stuff on the menu. Fries were good as well. Seasoned well, and hot. Service was friendly, and prompt.

I've been a handful of times and enjoyed everything I've had. Great service to.

I haven't been back there in a while. The times I went it was solid, but expensive as a whole. Also the buns were really flimsy. Has that been rectified?

Do they still just have the outside eating area? For some reason I really hate eating outside.

There is a counter inside, but the outside area is the larger space.

I'm a big fan too. Frankie's is located @2318 Cedardale Ave, Baton Rouge. It's off Perkins right next to Parrain's Seafood. Parking is a real pain in the arse because of the parking lot Nazis of the other businesses. I usually park under the interstate and hoof it over to Frankie's. Yes you can eat inside. Never had a problem with the bun. Every different version of the hot dog I've tried was great. The corn dog believe it or not was great too.

I like the place, I just can't bring myself to spend the same money on a hot dog that I can on a burrito right next door

I think they went through a bunch of different owners in the first year that it was opened. I think they finally got an owner that was doing well with it. Can't remember the last time I went though.

I eat it occasionally... I just hate feeling like a fat arse after consuming the mac & cheese dog with BB on top

I eat one on occasion. I don't eat the chili because it is Sysco chili and it is nasty. If they insist on using canned chili they should just use the Hormel Hot Dog Sauce.

I prefer Chicago Als and I like Dat Dog.

BR lacks sufficient hot dog choices.

I still have never eaten one sober. I vow to never to, I don't want to be dissapointed, because at 3am bombed they are top notch.
