He was not the best president, but I miss his leadership. I at least didn't feel like he was lying to us with every breath.

Do you see her prosthetic leg?

I'm betting it's a soldier.

The smile on his face tells you all you need to know about the difference between our last two presidents. Dude is a genuine person with the capacity for compassion.

You can ask any living President to sign your military retirement document you hang on your wall, he will be the President to sign mine. The current holder of the office not so much.

That's gotta be tough to look at those amputees and know you indirectly caused it. Glad to see he's still trying to help those guys out.

I agree. Say what you want about him, but he cares about the troops.

People that try to differentiate between Bush and Obama based on party affiliation are so cute.

I don't think people are doing that in this thread. Whether you agreed with his politics or not, Bush at least seemed to genuinely believe and mean what he said. President Obama makes it look and feel as if he's just going through the motions, saying things to score political points whether he agrees with what he's saying or not.

Take gay marriage for instance. I strongly believe that he doesn't support it. Not one iota. But he had to come out in favor of it in 2012 for electoral purposes.

Like all presidents he has faults. But I love the guy and would love to sit and talk with him.

It's the most important job in the free world. Not many presidents could have handled the problems he faced so early in his term.
