None. Your body can't absorb those concentrations of vitamins at once so what you're really buying is expensive piss, because that's where those vitamins are going.

dude, do you even webMD?

quote:

"We believe that it's clear that vitamins are not working," said Dr. Eliseo Guallar, a professor of epidemiology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.

In a strongly worded editorial on the three studies, Guallar and his co-authors urged people to stop spending money on multivitamins.

eta why is so hard to get facts out to people? and why are people so hesitant to believe them?

Do you piss out a lot of the vitamins? Yes. But your body also absorbs something that it wouldn't get otherwise. Its not like as soon as you swallow it, it get transported straight to your bladder. Some things get absorbed.

Everybody thought the world was flat and the sun was the center of the universe, too.

They were wrong as is the anti multivitamin crowd.

Healthy people don't need Dr. Eliseo Guallar.

ie. Don't strive for maximum health and you'll need to see the Dr. A lot.

And what if it's true, an apple a day keeps the doctor away. Wouldn't you want to do something so simple to keep the doctor away? I do.
