Need ideas for converting a single jet ski trailer to kayak trailer

That can hold 4-5 kayaks. I plan on removing the skids and then rebuilding...something. Stackable system? A-frame where the yaks are on their sides and lean into the A? Thoughts? Ideas? Brainstorms? Appreciate the input OBers.

Will do. That's what I was thinking. Afraid an A frame design might be a little top heavy for such a narrow trailer.

I'm not really familiar with jet ski trailers, but it seems like two sets of stacked kayaks seems to be the norm.

remove skids and get aluminum rails or galvanized, and attach them like that. wood is heavy, plus this is modular, you can easily change the configuration.

Ok, doing something like this this weekend. Anywhere to get those kinds of metal rails that has a better selection that Home Depot or Lowes?
