I haven't seen 22 Jump Street yet, but if I was wanting comedy, that's what I'd go for in a heartbeat. The first one was so money.

It's a sci-fi action film that meet's Groundhog's Day. It's not often that some actual thought is put into making modern action films and like Cruise or not, the acting was superb in this movie. Original plot + original alien creatures + great acting + Emily Blunt + great action sequences + great special effects = awesome movie.

22 Jump Street was probably better than the first. It was smarter and worked harder for sure. I love the "sequel parody" aspect. It reminded me of Scream 2.
